To understand this, you need to know – what is PHPMyAdmin. PHPMyAdmin is web based data manager for MySQL. Please note, PHPMyAdmin is written in PHP so it can be just copied to any server and can be used. This is the actual advantage we find in using PHPMyAdmin. PHP is not a part of MySQL or neither it being used in MySQL developments.

But, the important fact is, managing database is not an easy task. It requires an intuitive GUI which PHPMyAdmin completely lacks.
